Sam Patterson

At the core of Sam’s work with managers and leaders is the belief that ‘people make the difference’.
Using a strengths-based approach Sam works with her clients to tap into the difference they want to make, to their team, their organisation, their own effectiveness and life-balance, or to the wider system, and seeks to make that real for her clients. Sam specializes in human-centred organisation change, personal effectiveness, navigating the complexity of new working landscapes, and career transition.
Sam is an Executive coach, Team Coach, Neurodiversity specialist, Trainer and Facilitator.
Sam has extensive cross sector experience which includes Higher Education, Children’s social work, Technology and Start-Ups, NHS, Housing, Construction, Engineering and Manufacturing.

Style
Sam uses a strengths-based approach to build a coaching space with each client that is unique. She will utilise a range of coaching models, neuroscience research and tools to support the client in realising their goals. She will challenge alongside the client, existing narratives and assumptions to support the changes the client wants. Sam’s approach is fully inclusive, and she works with her clients in the way that supports their needs, and experiences.

Career background
Sam’s consultant career spans over 20 years including the last 15 years working independently. Working across sectors and organisations, with hundreds of people, Sam has developed the skills and experience to tailor everything she does to exactly what the client needs.
Sam works with leaders and teams at all levels focusing on organisation change, effective leadership, personal effectiveness and building adaptable teams to deliver strategic objectives.
