Amber Farrier

Hi! My name is Amber, and I am delighted to meet you. I am a qualified coach, leadership trainer and whole person facilitator.

I work within a varied range of organisations including local authorities, national charities, police, NHS, and education. I am passionate about working with people and organisations that want to make a positive impact to the lives of others.

I enjoy connecting and working with people facing leadership challenges, career choices, and those wanting to challenge themselves and grow. I am passionate about bringing ‘being human’ back into leadership and life.

Amber is an Executive Coach, Trainer, Facilitator and Business Consultant working with a variety of public, private and charitable organisations. Her strong management and leadership background has been gained whilst working within the Local Authority and Charitable sector as a Senior Manager.

Amber’s passion for continuous development, and belief that people are resourceful and want to work well together, has driven her career. Amber works with individuals in one-to-one development sessions as well as working with the wider organisation to develop teams that are future fit for purpose.

Amber is a whole person facilitator and is experienced in working in areas including management team development, increasing confidence, and design and delivery of bespoke management programmes. Amber is charismatic and enjoys working with organisations that recognise people as their main asset.

Amber strongly believes that individuals have a wealth of internal knowledge and resources that they are able to develop and draw upon. She uses a strength-based approach to help clients identify areas they would like to develop further in order to equip them with the skills they need to survive the ever more demanding pressures we face. Her sessions focus on questioning to promote deeper conversations and understanding of current situations, and to explore available options; clients will feel both relaxed and challenged. Amber ensures that her sessions remain focused entirely on her client’s agenda and goals.

Career background

Amber has worked as a senior leader in the Local Authority and Charitable sectors for over 15 years. Her experience includes service reviews; management of change; recruitment, talent management and retention of staff teams; staff training and development. Amber has been practicing as a coach, coach supervisor and whole person facilitator for many years and is an experienced trainer and assessor.

BA Hons Support Services; Level 5 Diploma in Management Coaching and Mentoring (ILM); Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management; Whole Person Facilitator; CEOP Ambassador; ILM assessor; certified Dare to Lead Facilitator.
