Sandra Egleton

Hallo! My name is Sandra. I have a huge reserve of experience to draw on as a coach – a background in senior management and qualifications and training in coaching, counselling, social care and teaching.

I create a positive coaching conversation with you to best help you change and meet your goals. I’m up for exploring knotty and messy problems considering both the individual and wider perspectives. I am also comfortable working with emotional issues maybe arising from stress, anxiety, imposter syndrome and negative working relationships.

Clients tell me that coaching has been a very positive experience, one which has helped them understand themselves, others, and their organisations much better and that they have gained new perspectives and approaches to tackle their challenges and meet their goals.

I look forward to meeting you in the coaching space!

She is also a qualified teacher, counsellor and family therapist and brings all this previous experience to the coaching relationship to facilitate the best possible outcomes for the coachee.

“

Coaching has challenged my thinking, provided support and helped me to identify strategies to deal with the issues identified. The coaching has benefitted me both personally and professionally. The timing of coaching was ideal in terms of me taking up a new post within a new work area. The coaching has supported me to embrace change, work outside my comfort zone as well as challenge practice.

Style

Sandra incorporates her psychological knowledge and skill into her coaching practice and focuses on helping coachees to create sustained change in their work and personal lives. She works with coachees to identify meaningful goals and helps them challenge limiting beliefs that are holding them back and to generate new perspectives to meet their work and personal goals. She draws extensively on models and conceptual frameworks from psychology and leadership to inform the coaching conversation and help generate new awareness of self and others.

She has 250+ hours of coaching experience and has worked with a wide variety of staff. She is able to build trust and meaningful connection quickly and respond sensitively to the individual coachee’s goal aspirations and desire for change. Sandra has increasingly developed a systemic approach to her coaching practice given the complexity and volatility of the current work environment. She helps coachees tease out their place in the wider system and work through overwhelm and impact of heavy work demands.
