Sarah Woodford

Hello! I’m Sarah, and thank you for pausing to look at my profile.

I am an NHS GP by background, working as a Coach for the last 9 years. I have such privilege in my career to support individuals both at their most celebratory times but also those moments of intense sadness and vulnerability.

I discovered my passion for coaching by observing how individuals flourish when they are aligned with their values, have self-belief, and discover their personal agency over their life, leisure, and work. I have worked with leaders at times of uncertainty; to work more effectively, manage change or review their career direction. I offer a safe space, to work in partnership with you, to progress your goals and be your “challenging and accountability friend”. I hope you can join me to discover what a joy it is to be truly listened to, to focus on your future, and to be more effective and satisfied in and with your life.

“

Sarah made me feel comfortable and safe in our sessions, she has great listening skills and through the very thoughtful conversation she was able to challenge my thinking, allowing me to gain a different perspective. She is the most amazing coach I have ever had. She is a very good listener, is very kind and very empathic. It is a difficult time but I have found my passion about my profession again.

Leader NHS

Really good coach. Took her time to understand my issues, in a patient, non-judgemental and positive manner. used my own personal examples to show me my inherent patterns of thinking and behaviours. excellent use of simple but profound resources eg questionnaires, etc to highlight my motivations and behaviours. spent a lot of time outside of sessions sharing resources with me also.

Style

Sarah brings a broad and tailored range of communication skills built from years of experience working with people both at their best and in their most vulnerable moments. She has a curiosity for individuals and always has an open mind about what the future may bring. She uses reflection, encourages self-awareness, and facilitates individuals to identify and wholeheartedly own and progress their goals. Sarah may use a range of tools and techniques to help individuals work through change and live their values, but mostly her approach is to offer a safe space to have a deep conversation.
